1 review for Solomons PNG Master

  1. Sue

Just back from a wonderful trip on the PNG French Polynesian Master boat, aka Taka. The diving is wonderfully diverse on best of Solomons as you get to see beautiful reefs with the largest sea fans and sponges, drifting with sharks and schools of Barracuda and Jacks in the current – if you are lucky even a Manta or two, navigate systems of swim throughs and underwater canyons as well as a series of wrecks. The crew is lovely, very professional and does everything to give you the best experience.
The land trips give insight on life on the islands. Carmen and Adam lead us with a welcoming atmosphere fish lovers as well as wreck divers. The amount of background information on marine life and the wrecks that was provided was exceptional!
For a solo traveller the option of not paying extra for a single cabin is great and since it is actually a double bunk cabin you’ll have plenty of space. Didn’t miss having an en suite bathroom and never had to queue for one.
The tender towing was a bit of extra fun, too. Fastest way ever to get back on the main vessel after the dive!
Would definitely do this trip again and highly recommend it.
